The Trade Show Display Design Process

Design Meeting

Green Group Studio is unique in that we take the time to make sure that we position your company in the best possible way to effectively reach and engage with your target audience. This means that our designers will sit down with you to learn about your brand (and your ideal customer base), as well as the products and services that your company offers.

In many cases, clients come to us in need of a branded trade show booth that they can use at multiple events. In other cases, clients will have a specific set of offerings (products or services) that they want to promote on their trade show booth for a particular exhibit. Whether you want a timeless trade show booth that reflects your overall brand identity, or a design pertaining to a specific subject matter for your display, we can dive in and create a beautiful design to attract customers.


Trade Show Booth Design

If you have a current logo, colors, fonts, or even branding standards manual, we start there. In other cases, clients rely on us to take care of their full branding, inclusive of a logo, brand colors, typeface, and photos/illustrations.

Once we understand the overall look and feel of your brand, we begin with creating concepts and verbiage so that we can craft the right visual messaging. Just like PowerPoint slides, our copywriters will help ensure that you don't have information overload on your display, but rather something snappy and succinct.

We typically include two rounds of design revisions and have the option for additional design concepts.


Production

Once the trade show booth design is approved, we send it to a (US-based) manufacturer who will send us a color proof for your approval. You simply sign off on the proof once it meets your standards, and then we help you place the order. The manufacturing and shipping of the trade show display is billed directly to your company credit card at our discounted industry rate. You can either have the trade show booth delivered to the Green Group Studio office or another destination of your choosing.

We highly recommend that you order your trade show booth with enough time for design, revisions, production, and shipping. Typically, you're going to want at least 15 days to allow yourself some breathing room (while avoiding the additional cost of expedited shipping). However, we can turn around displays in as little as five days, from design to production, when necessary (expedited shipping required).

Trade Show Booth Lighting

In addition to different structural and assembly options, there are also specific trade show booths that have different lighting options. The most common lighting options are halogen and LED. Although LED lighting is approximately twice the cost, it can be the better option for several reasons.







LED lights:

Are impact resistant - You don't need to worry about burning out a filament on the road. They use a fraction of the power. TIP: If your trade show exhibit hall charges for electricity (we have seen fees up to $400 per day), you may be able to power your LED lights off of a computer battery backup without having to pay for electric. Bonus: you can use your battery backup at multiple shows, vs paying for electric at each show.
