Package Design Services

"Nice package!" Yeah, Our Clients Get That A Lot.

Let’s be honest, everyone has, at one time or another, bought something over a similar product based solely on its packaging. We know that we sure have! Package design is interesting, and it's everywhere. Most consumers judge a product by its packaging before making the decision to buy, so it’s safe to say that enticing package design has the ability to elicit emotion—nay—ACTION from consumers. Your package design is your products identity. It is there to draw attention, spark interest, communicate information, and reinforce your branding. We work closely with each of our clients to achieve a custom package design that will draw the attention (and interest) of even the most skeptical of consumers.

While our job may start with the package design, it doesn't stop there! We work with a variety of packaging vendors and suppliers on a regular basis, so we know how to deal with constraints in production, short timetables, and tight deadlines. Once we identify the appropriate vendor for your packaging needs, we discuss any production constraints and preferences up-front, so that we can be sure to provide the best deliverables—from preferred file formats to color proofing and replication and more. Our Creative Director personally oversees the proofing process to ensure that package design print production outside of our office meets the most stringent production and print quality standards.

The Importance Of Good Package Design

When it comes to showcasing their products on busy store shelves, companies have only a matter of seconds to stand out from competitors and catch a potential customer’s attention. With just a glance, your packaging needs to tell a story that encompasses your company’s values and your product’s benefits. At Green Group Studio, we have the team and the experience to get your products noticed!

Drawing the Line with Package Design Dielines

A dieline is a template provided by the printing company that helps to ensure that your artwork is set up correctly in preparation for the cutting and scoring process. Package dielines are essentially flattened versions of the package and shows graphic designers exactly where folds and cuts occur so that they can accurately plan out the various design elements.

Using Pantone Colors in Package Design

Pantone, also known as PMS (Pantone Matching System), is a standardized color matching system that assigns each color inside a Pantone book a specific number. When utilizing a Pantone color for your packaging, you can be certain that the color you choose will be the exact color printed out on your final design. This is extremely important in package design as your product needs to be identical in appearance in order to present a consistent image to customers. However, while the PMS process gives you the peace of mind that your colors will print accurately each and every time, it does come with a higher price tag due to the extra production time taken to clean out the ink inside the press machine after each run.
