UN Microsite
GGS was engaged to create a digital presence for a document that was created for the United Nations Development Programme in response to the Syrian refugee crisis. The goal was to engage people and pass along information in a format that is easily visible from any device. All photos and text were provided to GGS by UN subcontractors.
Web and Mobile design
When designing UNDP’s website, we wanted to exude a clean and professional feel while keeping the user interface simple and easy to navigate. The homepage consists of a dynamic, clean background devoid of distractions, while the foreground text gives the user navigation options. Once the user hovers over an option the background changes to an image which represents that option, giving them a glimpse of the subject that page focuses on.
For the mobile version of the site, the design was simplified to a condensed linear layout which is better suited for mobile devices.
